Vehicle Accident: WWE Wrestler Randy Savage Dies in Car Crash

Los Angeles-- Ex World Wrestling Federation (WWE) wrestler Randy “Macho Man” Savage was killed after an SUV accident in Tampa, Florida.
According to reports, Savage was driving along Tampa, Florida when he suffered a heart attack behind the wheel. His Jeep Wrangler swerved, hit a median, and crashed onto a tree. It was unclear whether he died of the heart attack or from injuries.
Savage's wife was a passenger in the SUV and sustained minor injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported her to a local hospital, reports said.
Police officers said that the couple was wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash. Details on the cause of the incident are still under investigation.
Savage performed for WWE from 1995 to 1993. He was best known for his record-breaking performance at Wrestlemania 3 at Ponitac Silverdome in 1987.
