Victim’s Family in Fatal Hit-And-Run Appeal for Help

COMPTON – The family of the 15-year old girl who died when a man intentionally crash his GMC Safari van into the taco stand has asked the public for information to help them in arresting the man responsible for the fatal accident at 1709 N. Willowbrook Avenue.

As this developed, The Los Angeles Board of Supervisors have offered a reward of $ 10, 000 for information that would lead to the suspects’ arrest. The suspect, whom police identified as Florencio Zendejas, 52, will be charged on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.

The accident also injured two other family members although authorities theorized the suspect was trying to hit another person, a customer at the business, when the accident occurred.

Police said the suspect is Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches and 175 pounds.
