CAR ACCIDENT: Victim of Riverside Fatal Off-Road Accident Identified

Riverside – The coroner’s office has identified the victim of a fatal off-road car accident yesterday afternoon, as Fayette Baird, 59, from Riverside.

According to preliminary investigations, Baird was riding a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 as a passenger along Riverwalk Parkway, between Pierce Street and Flat Rock Drive, when the car ran off the road and crashed into a tree at about 4:11 pm.

Baird was brought to Kaiser Permanente Hospital where she was pronounced dead at about 5:00 pm.

The 52-year-old driver, on the other hand, had to be extricated from the wreck by responding fire officials.

His condition is still unclear as of writing.
