CAR CRASH: Vacaville Single Car Crash Kills Teen Driver, Injures 5 Passenger

Vacaville – Authorities are investigating a single-car crash that killed one teenager and injured five passengers last night in Solano County.
The car accident occurred at about 8:40pm in the intersection of Vacaville Valley road and Pleasant Valley Road.
According to the CHP, the 18-year-old female driver was traveling at high speed along the eastbound lane of Vacaville Valley Road when she lost control of her Volkswagen Jetta and veered off the road.
The Jetta crashed into a walnut tree and the teen driver died on the scene.
All five passengers sustained injuries ranging from moderate to life threatening.
The front seat passenger, together with the driver, was air lifted to the trauma center of John Muir Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The remaining four passengers were brought to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
There have been no further updates about the conditions of the victims.
