August 21, 2008

LOS ANGELES – At least two persons were injured when two vehicles collided near El Segundo Boulevard, causing the two lanes of the Harbor Freeway to be closed down to traffic for several hours.

According to police, the victims - a 29-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman - were both taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Both victims suffered only minor injuries because they were wearing their seat belts, and airbags in the vehicle had been deployed during the crash, the police added.
