Two-Car Crash Injures 3 People, DUI Driver Arrested

Sunset Beach, OC - Three people were injured in a two-car crash caused allegedly by a drunk driver, Monday morning.

The car crash involving a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Sienna, occurred at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway at about 2:51 a.m.

Jiwon Lee, 27 from Brea, was brought to Los Alamitos Medical Center with minor injuries, while Sarah Garrat, 25, and a resident of Bellflower, was taken to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Both were passengers in the vehicles involved but it was still unknown which car each was traveling.

Meanwhile, Ayesha King, 23, from Los Angeles who was driving the Altima during the crash, was brought to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center with minor injuries.

The driver of the Sienna, Seung Kim, 41, from Orange County, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influenced and was booked in county jail.

Other details on how the car crash occurred were not immediately available, and the authorities are still investigating.
