CAR ACCIDENT: Three hurt Camarillo Car Crash

Camarillo – At least two people suffered mild injuries while another sustained serious wounds Monday afternoon after a side collision at the intersection of Santa Rosa and Woodcreek roads in Camarillo, officials said.
According to the report released by the Sheriff’s Department, 21-year-old Samuel Maynard was turning from Santa Rosa to Woodcreek when an SUV sideswiped his sports car at about 4:10 pm.
The driver of the SUV, Robin Platt, 47, and Maynard suffered minor injuries but a passenger in the sports car was trapped and needed to be freed by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.
The passenger, Vanessa Maynard, 50, was rushed to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, the report said.
