CAR ACCIDENT: Teenage Driver Dies after Wilton Intersection Crash

Wilton - A 19-year-old driver was killed after the car he was driving crashed onto a truck at the intersection of Tavernor Road and Clay Station Road on Tuesday noon.

The teenage driver ran a red light and crashed onto a F-350 pick up truck. Paramedics pronounced the girl dead at the scene minutes after resuscitation attempts, reports said.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports, the truck driver and his two passengers were unhurt after the crash. The Mazda car's occupants, an infant and an adult man, sustained undisclosed injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
