December 10, 2009
San Diego – A federal judge has sentenced the 17-year-old who pled guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter last month to spend 547 days in a juvenile detention camp in connection with a fatal DUI crash in October.
The Torrey Pines High School student was ordered by Judge George “Woody” Clarke to spend time in detention after the single car-crash that killed a 17-year-old passenger while injuring another.
Earlier reports indicate that the teen, along with his friends, was travelling at around 2am after drinking when they got involved in a single-car-crash.
