CAR CRASH: Oxnard Mom pleads not guilty in Fatal Crash that killed Daughter

Ventura County – Thirty-seven year old Judith Ramirez has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her involving a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of her 17-year old daughter last May.

Ramirez was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, drunken driving and causing injury, driving with a 0.08 percent blood-alcohol level and causing injury, two counts of child endangerment, and driving with a suspended license, among other counts.

Court records show that the accidents occurred in Vineyard Avenue near Saticoy. Ramirez was driving an SUV when it went off the road and rolled over into a drainage ditch, killing her daughter. Two other passengers of the SUV were injured while Ramirez suffered lacerations.
