CAR ACCIDENT: Oroville man dies in single-vehicle crash

Oroville - A man sustained fatal injuries after crashing onto a light pole on Feather River Boulevard on Sunday.

The driver's Acura Integra was speeding on 1400 block Feather River Boulevard when he lost control on the wheels and crashed onto the light pole, reports said.

Nikki Evans, 22, remained unresponsive as paramedics attempted to revive him. He was pronounced dead minutes after the crash, reports said.

Authorities are investigating Evans' speed that might have caused the accident.
