MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Motorcyclist Dies in Vehicle Collision in L.A.

Downtown Los Angeles – A motorcyclist was killed early Thursday after his motorbike crashed into another vehicle at the Jewelry District in downtown Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, the rider smashed into a passenger vehicle at around 4:20 in the morning. The victim, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the accident scene near Hill and Sixth streets.

The Central Traffic Division has not yet released any additional information about the incident, including whether the passenger vehicle’s driver was detained for potential criminal charges.

The cause of the motorcycle accident remains under investigation. The motorcyclist’s name has not yet been released.
