Man Critically Injured After Hit by Car

Sacramento- A Roseville pedestrian was critically injured after a car struck him at Harding Boulevard at Douglas Boulevard early Tuesday.
The 53-year-old man, whose name was not released, was crossing the street when the car hit him outside the Arco AMPM on the northeast corner, 6:25 a.m.
According to report, the driver of the car turned right from Douglas Boulevard to Harding Boulevard and then hit the man who is a regular buyer of lottery tickets, as stated by convenience store employees.
A Roseville police said that during the time of the incident, conditions were dark and foggy and the man was wearing dark clothing.
The pedestrian was flown to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, and he was in critical condition.
The police declined to identify him because the family was not yet identified, and he was an accident victim.
Investigators are still trying to identify if the Roseville man was crossing the street outside the mark crosswalk.
