CAR ACCIDENT: LAPD Lands atop other Vehicles after Crash in South LA

Los Angeles – Authorities are currently investigating a car crash in South Los Angeles that involved a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) patrol car this morning.
The car crash, which involved several other vehicles, happened near Florence and Vermont Streets shortly before 10:40 am.
According to reports, the patrol car from the LAPD’s 77th Street station smashed through a fence of a concrete median before ending up atop at least two vehicles.
LAPD said that they are still investigating the circumstances of the collision but reports are coming out that the patrol car may have been chasing a stolen car before the crash.
There were no reports of injuries except for a police officer who sustained minor harm in the car accident.
