December 9, 2010

Sacramento - Authorities have booked former Houston Rockets player and prominent Sacramento Kings assistant coach Mario Elie on DUI charges yesterday morning after he was stopped and arrested by CHP officers along Capitol Mall near 15th Street.

He was booked into Sacramento County Jail but has since been released.

Elie is the newest addition to the list of people connected to the Kings who have been arrested for drunk driving.

This includes former forward Andres Nocioni, and last year’s NBA rookie of the year Tyreke Evans, who both pleaded no contest to their respective DUI charges.
