TRUCK ACCIDENT: Hanford woman dies after car-pick up crash

Hanford - A woman died after her Cutlass Ciera car collided with a Chevrolet pick up truck at northeast of Flint and Sixth streets on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The 39-year-old woman's car was heading eastbound when she ran a red light and collided with the southbound pick up truck, police said.

The car driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Brian McCutcheon (27), the pick up driver, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, reports said.

Police officers are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
