FREEWAY ACCIDENT: Granada Hills Accident Causes 118 Freeway Traffic Shutdown

Granada Hills – A vehicle accident involving a car and a truck has caused a major traffic jam in 118 Freeway and injured one person early morning Thursday.

The collision happened around 5 a.m. west of Woodley Avenue. All eastbound lanes were closed to motorists until 5:43 a.m. Heavy traffic lasted for one and a half hours while the California Highway Patrol officers are doing their investigations and clearing the scene.

The injured person was rushed to the hospital.

No report on the cause of the accident has been released as of this moment.
