VEHICLE CRASH: Driver killed in 91 Freeway crash

Artesia – A man was killed instantly early Tuesday after his vehicle veered off the road and smashed into a concrete wall on 91 Freeway in Artesia, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, the driver, who was in his mid 30s, was driving his Honda Civic along the eastbound lanes of 91 Freeway near Pioneer Boulevard when he crashed at around 12:10 a.m.
Witnesses say they saw the victim’s car moving from the fast lane and across several lanes before going off the highway. Rescuers pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Factors that might have caused the accident are still under investigation.
