CAR CRASH: Driver dies in solo crash in Winchester

Winchester – A motorist suffered fatal injuries after his vehicle crashed in Winchester early Friday, the California Highway Patrol said.

The car accident took place along Leon Road, south of Simpson Road at around 2:57 a.m., reported by a CHP dispatcher in the Temecula area.

An investigator was sent at the accident scene to recover the victim’s body.

The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
