CAR CRASH: Driver’s Medical Condition May Have Caused Crash

Costa Mesa - According to authorities, the driver was moving west along 17th Street in a Honda Civic when he smashed into the east side of Coast Hand Car Wash.
The car wash at 176 17 St. was closed and no workers were inside it when the accident occurred.
Police said that smoke may be seen coming out of the vehicle after it crashed but it did not catch fire.
He sustained non life-threatening injuries and was brought to Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach to undergo further medical evaluation.
