DUI: Alleged DUI Driver Arrested after Fatal Accident

Fresno- Authorities have arrested a driver on suspicion of driving under the influence following a collision that left one person dead and two others injured.

According to police, Michael Freeman, 23, from Fresno, was traveling westbound on McKinley Avenue when he suddenly collided with a Nissan Frontier that was moving southbound along Highway 145.

Reports stated that the 76-year-old male Nissan driver was pronounced dead after he was brought to the Community Regional Medical Center.

Freeman sustained major injuries and was brought to the same hospital where he was arrested later. Meanwhile, his passenger, identified as Dustin Perger, 22, from Clovis, also sustained major injuries.
