Artie Lange Charged with DUI

New Jersey – “Howard Stern Show” regular and author of the best-selling book “Too Fat to Fish” Artie Lange was charged of driving under the influence of intoxicant and careless driving after an accident in Central New Jersey Friday afternoon, police said.

According to the Toms River Police, at about 1:30p.m, Lange’s 2009 Nissan truck hit the back of another vehicle.

No one was injured and both cars sustained only minor damages.

Police added that the officer’s observation of the 41-year-old Lange led to the charges.

He was later taken to the Police headquarters for processing.

He was then issued summons and released pending a municipal court appearance on July 16.
