CAR COLLISION – 210 Freeway crash leaves three people injured

Azusa – At least three people were left injured after two cars collided along Foothill 210 Freeway Wednesday morning.

According to CHP Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos, the accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on the westbound lane of the freeway near N. Vernon Avenue. Villalobos said that a white Honda collided with a silver Toyota in the carpool lane.

Because of the accident, high-occupancy vehicle lane (HOV) and number one lane were temporarily closed. A SigaAlert was declared at 6:42 a.m.

Los Angeles County fire paramedics took the victims to the hospital for treatment. Their current condition is still unknown.

All lanes were cleared and reopened before 7:30 a.m.
