VEHICLE CRASH: 2 Killed in Roseville Crash Due to Wet Road

Roseville – At least two people were killed Sunday morning after fatal accident caused by wet road on Roseville Road, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, a Chevrolet pickup truck lost control at around 10:00 am during a heavy rainstorm and crashed into an SUV on Roseville Road.

A passenger of the pickup, Allan Blas, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 52-year-old Janice Audrene Pittman was brought to Sutter Roseville Medical Center where she died.

The SUV driver, Terry McCormack Jr., 24, was hospitalized but was later released.

Investigators said the wet road may have been a factor in the accident.
